I need to let this out.
I told my dad about wanting to cut.
I wrote him a letter...
I told him I don't trust my mum enough to tell her because she just judges me.
I told him it's hard and I don't understand why I want to...
I told him I was scared...
I told him I just wanted someone to let me know it'd be alright.
That I really did want to stop but was afraid I can't...
I thought he'd be mad...

But he just held me and said it would all be fine.

If anyone is in a position where they have an adult they think in the slightest they could tell.
Do it and tell them how you need them to react.
It will help.

Congrats Eli! I'm really proud of you for telling. I recently told my dad too and I know how hard it is to do. And trust me, it really makes it easier to resist when they know.

It says I don't know how to talk to her...
