Acer H213H Blinking constantly

I just bought a brand new Acer H213H 21.5" widescreen monitor today, but it keeps blinking! Ugh this is so annoying. It doesn't seem to be on any kind of repeated cycle... It's just random and sporadic. The monitor will go off for 2 or 3 seconds and come back on.

Btw, I'm using Windows XP SP3 32-bit. My video card is an ATI Radeon X1550

Take the monitor back, explain what's happening, get a new one.

Are all the drivers updated? Check the Acer website for monitor drivers.

I think I found out what the problem was. I was trying to use my old monitor (the one that was replaced) as a secondary monitor in a dual monitor set up. I think they're incompatible or something. It doesn't seem to blink anymore once I disable the second monitor.

Nevermind, still blinking. This thing is a piece. I'm returning it right now.
