Aliens, Other life forms

Okay, i want to know everyones opinions on aliens, other lifeforms ufo sitings ect. I need reasons you do believe and if you don't believe tell me YOU'RE reason, don't go to some website and copy paste some "facts" that its not true, i think if their are other life forms or not is a legitimate discussion, And since someone may ask here is my opinion.

Yes i think their could be other lifeforms out there, don't know if they are intelligent or just like "things" but i find it hard to belive that out of this vast universe that we are the only living things, we have not discovered enough to jump to conclusions, just because todays technology isn't that good. Now, to Roswell and UFO sitings, i don't know, i have never seen one and it seems sometime in the 1950's when it became popular everyone started making a big deal and TONS of sitings came flooding in to the press. So, to me no, the UFO sitings are for attention and stuff, but then again their could be. Alien abduction, NO to me its just not true. And yeah, i want others opinons, Not to sound stuck up but i don't know the kind of people that actually discuss and have opinions, they just say "i don't know, their aliens they are gay anyways" so this is "Ramblings of the wise" so i came here,

I personally believe there might be other forms of life. In my physics course, we discussed whether it was possible for the existance of aliens. We all agreed that within the galaxy there could be life among the billions of stars as there are so many of them. The reason we haven't found alternative forms of life yet is because there are just so many stars to test and determine whether that's true or false.

That's just my take on it, I'm open to hear another's opinion or evidence of it though.

There are most definitely other living creatures somewhere else in the universe. They may not be as advanced, such as single-celled organisms. They may be far more advanced than us. We do not have sufficient technology to find these life forms (yet) and I do not believe we have ever been visited by them.

I whole-heartedly believe aliens exist. Whether they've come to visit us or abduct slack-jawed southerners, however, is another matter...

I can't say for certain! i'm not going to say that there is no way aliens exist, and im not gonna say that there definitely are.

but i do think chances are high, so i'm leaning towards that side.

I don't have scientific proof of my opinion, mainly because I don't care enough to have researched it. But I think it's pretty unlikely that our planet has the only living organisms.

I do believe aliens do exist because out of all the planets that are in the universe (or known universe to be proper), it seems almost statistically impossible for us to be the only life there is. Now, whether the aliens are like us physically, intelligent or not is a whole different story and it is one that I also would believe that at least some of them do have some intelligence, perhaps less, equal to ours or more than ours.

As for whether aliens have visited us, well that I'm not so sure on. Many of the "sitings" usually are something else other than aliens and since whenever someone sees some "weird things in the sky", many people would conclude it's an alien because that the simplest thing and the one that people may want to believe. However, the aliens that I do believe exist are the ones that exist in movies, books, TV shows, etc... .

I believe there is both intelligent and non-intelligent life in other places both in this galaxy and other galaxies. With an unimaginable amount of other worlds out there, do you really think this is the only one that has life on it?? If you do, explain :/

I bet there are other life forms out there...I just highly doubt they resemble people or the type of life forms we have on this planet. I seriously doubt little green men are wandering some planet, but other life forms are possible.

Ok, well I believe in extra-terrasterial life.
I also believe that in the past, aliens visited the planet. When I was watching ancient astronauts on the History Channel last week, it got me thinking. The ancient Egyptians - The Great Pyramid of Giza was reportedly built in twenty-two years, i believe. In today's standards, that's impossible, a brick would've been laid every nine-seconds. The ancient Egyptains also said they were helped by the sky gods, or something of that sort. Now, as I am tired this is all I going to leave. Tommorow I will post a twist to this thread because those are always fun. :P

I personally believe that it is impossible to deny the existence of other lifeforms on different planets... These creatures might be far superior in intelligence to us, or just simple single-celled things, but alive all the same. The universe is just too vast and big for us to be all on our lonesome. I however, do not believe any life forms have visited us yet. Little green men in flying saucers? Please, that is good 50's movie material, but nothing else. The military would have for sure seen a UFO if it was to be stewing around in our airspace, reveling themselves to the white population and abducting our farmers... I was being charismatic.

For you to believe no other life exist in the universe shows your ignorance. There could possibly be no other life in the Milky Way Galaxy, but they're are many planets undiscovered in our home galaxy.

So in a universe with billions and billions of stars you refuse to accept that there just might be another form of life yet you freely believe in that illuminati stuff? That really does prove your ignorance.

Not too sure about UFOs though, I kind of doubt they've every visited us. But there's probably something out there amoungst all of those stars. In a universe this massive (or even infinite according to some theories) I just can't accept that earth is the only hospitable planet.

out of the billions of galaxys i think that some where there is a solar syste just like ours with life forms on the 3rd planet like us. and there are probably little green men and tall people with a glowing head as well.

the universe is too big for their not to be.

plus our technology is so primitive, we havent even passed our solar system with any thing, manned or unmaned so i think we are on the stupid scale out there

In the infinite size of our universe it's a ignorant statement to think there isn't other life, and if you think about how humans haven't even been on the clock of time for a hundredth of a second and we accomplished as much as we have, if other intelligent life have been around for longer how much they have accomplished.
