A cast iron redemption
Boils my blood
From it's normal lucrative red
To a thick brown,
Unsettling
And undignified.
A loss for words
And a desire
To depart from nowhere
And find the road
To somewhere
Between
A shallow lake
And a decapitated forest
Drive the forces
Also known as
The voice in my head.
It calls to me,
Like a cast iron redemption
Boiling my blood
From it's normal lucrative red
To a thick brown,
Unsettling
And undignified.
And like, echolocation, an inner desire
To find the somewhere inside of me,
By bouncing sound off of my bones,
It rallies through my veins
And decimates my lack of thought,
Forcing me to wallow in my
Own distinctions.
No words escape though
When my body temperature
Rises above
What's considered 'normal.'
The voice grows louder,
The pain wears the muscle
And the tissue down
And tears at the somewhere
Between the shallow lake
And the decapitated forest
That is my heart.
Boils my blood
From it's normal lucrative red
To a thick brown,
Unsettling
And undignified.
