I think this goes here ...
I want to shave me legs ... i mean here all my "friends" and the majority of the males shave their legs and such ... when i kind of told my parents they said no ... they think it makes you gay ... like wtf how can shving your legs make you gay ??
How shall i confront them ... or cinvince them to let me .. ?

Simply tell them that you dislike leg hair and would feel much better if it was shaven. Just try to reason with them, and point out that it doesn't make you gay. Lots of professional athletes shave their legs and other body hair such as swimmers and bike riders.

I shave my chest, legs, arms, hair in my armpits and my butt as well as my pubic hair cock and balls

<removed by the poster> it does not make you gay and it's your body anyway so it's entirely up to you to make the choice

no offense, your parents are retards
That's extremely disrespectful.
Convince your parents that your leg hair is a burden for you. Some good reasons would include athletics or appearance.

I agree with UnholyConfessions. If you feel like your legs are too hairy, why does shaving them automatically make you gay?

Shaving is a personal choice and it in no way makes you gay or look gay. Although some may see it as that way seeing as how girls do it more often, but yeah many athletes shave their hair and such it's your body and it's your choice if your parents wont let you then just see if you can buy the supplies you need by yourself or borrow from someone.

explain to them that some girls find leg hair very unappealing.
OR that you heard that a specific girl that you "have a crush on" doesn't like leg hair, and you are trying to impress her.
that should eliminate them thinking you're gay.

Try convincing them that It's your body and you would like to shave cuz that makes you feel more comfortable. They cannot decide what happens with your body, It's your decision.

I'll just throw out the warning that you might get picked on for it (I know your friends do it, but a non-swimmer who did that in my school would've been taunted endlessly).
If you really want to do that, I'd just go ahead and do it and tell your parents you lost a bet or something.

Here, it is taboo for men to shave their legs if they aren't runners or swimmers. But, if its what you want to do, just do it. Why would you ask your parents for permission about your body?

Don't mean to sound rude but you could always take up running or swimming for a while... When they see everyone like that, you could throw something at them like everyone else does it and your the odd one out.

Why do you have to ask your parents? Just get a shaver and shave it.

I agree with others here, it's your body, you should be able to ave what parts of it you want, with or without you parents grace.
Also, in no way, shape or form does it make you look 'gay' if you shave your legs.

I don't understand how it is gay. Your parents sound really homophobic.
Just shave it.

I guess your family's Catholic like mine ... lol. But your parents shouldn't tell you if you can shave your legs or not. As for convincing them follow these other users' advice. I myself shave but not that much. When I'm assured that everyone else shaves, I'll start doing it more often. But then again almost no other boys have any hair on their legs. So I'm pretty sure they all shave.

Its probably those super-sterotypical-homophobia parents.
Why do you want to shave your legs anyways? Other then just because your friends do it.
..and i am homophobic too (no Offense)..
Thats not exactly a great thing to say about yourself on a site like this..

speaking as a girl, I find hairy legs a turn-off, so like the other poster said, just tell your parents that you are trying to impress someone. or say something like you dont like the feeling of leg hair, because I find it a rather ewwie feeling :]

If his parents think that shaving legs is gay, just imagine what they say if he said he wants to wax his legs.

Just go ahead and shave. Its just the hair on your legs, it'll grow back. And it doesn't make you look 'gay' if that's what your worried about.

Shaving doesn't make you gay... Hmm you should confront them... nicely and respectfully.
