Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knew how to make a slideshow of your desktop/wallpaper.

On my sisters MacBook Pro, she can choose that option and it does it automatically. On my Microsoft Vista, it doesn't have that option. Does anyone know of anything I can download or something that would do this for me?

I researched, not sure if any of these are what you want but...
"For a slideshow:
1. Open the folder you've created with your chosen pictures. (of course, you've done that, right?)
2. Right-click with your mouse on one of the images you want in the slide show.
3. Chose "open with" and find Windows Picture & Fax Viewer.
4. Press F11 and the slide show will begin until you press ESC.

For wallpaper:
1. Open the folder where you've stored your chosen image(s).
2. Right-click on the picture you want, and scroll down to "Set as Desktop Background"
3. You may have to right-click on your new background, if it's not sized correctly, choose display properties, and set the background to "stretch"."

Not sure if it still functions in Vista:

Here’s how to create a wallpaper background slide show in Windows 7:

Gather up all the images you want to be part of this desktop slide show and put them in a folder somewhere, or use existing pictures folders you already have.

Click on the Windows 7 Orb button (Start button) then type in “change desktop background” in the search box. You should now see that option from the search results, click on it.

Change Desktop background

That should bring up the Desktop Wallpaper window. You can click on the drop down menu and choose from different options or hit the “Browse” button to find a specific picture folder.

Select a folder

Now your folder is open with all of your images inside, by default all the pictures inside the folder is checked but you can manually un-check any photos you do not want to include in the slide show. Hold the “Ctrl” key down and click on pictures you don’t want in the slide show. There’s also a “Select all” and “Clear all” button on the top.

Slide Show Picture Settings

Picture position – there are a few different options to modify how your pictures will look such as Tile, Center, Stretch and so on.

Change picture every – select when the pictures will rotate. You can choose anywhere between 10 seconds to 12 hours or even 1 day.

Shuffle – check this if don’t want your pictures to be displayed in any order.

Don’t forget to hit “Save changes” to finish your background slide show.

Vista to W7 is what ME was to XP. It's so much better. Even in this stage.
