When Alex Goodenough was 13, his English teacher asked his class to write the first chapter of a novel. Alex began writing his, and after chapter one he thought he might as well carry on. He kept writing and writing - about space-faring aliens killing each other - and when the day came to submit his work, he handed in 97,000 words. An entire novel.

Dickheads. They didn't let him into sixth form because of him being autistic? Yeah. We won't educate our oh so obviously intelligent population because of them being less than social. Like seroiuslly. Here, the equivalent (by age) is not letting students take eleventh and twelve grade. WTF?
Hope the guy gets his book published.. sounds rather interesting

I bet it will be published because of him being autistic. My cousins has aspergers and she loves to write and draw.
And its just wrong that they didn't let him in.
