I'm not sure if this is where it goes, if not then sorry, and if there's already another thread out there about this, sorry again.

Anyways, I'm wondering if it's possible to view your reputation, who gave it to you, for what posts etc etc and so forth. I've looked it up in the FAQ and it says to go to the User CP and look at the bottom of the page, I did and there was nothing there...am I just looking in the wrong place or what?

Maybe you haven't received reputation but it is where it says it is.
Click on "UserCP" in the top left hand corner and scroll down until you see Reputation.

You can't see who gave it to you though. Only what you got and where you got it from.

Well is this green bar over to the left correct? Because it says one (whatever that means)... Also when i go to "edit options" in the user cp, it tells me I have 10 reputation (just above the reputation on/off box)

Then that would mean you haven't received any reputation yet I believe.

Your UserCP shows how many REP POINTS you have.
Your REP POWER is shown in your post. Your rep power goes up by one every 50 rep points, or every 1000 posts, or every 6 months I believe.

Scroll down.

It must say you have 10 reputation points. You have one green block (which is reflected by reputation points) and you have a Rep Power of 1 (indicated on the left)

Your UserCP shows how many REP POINTS you have.
Your REP POWER is shown in your post. Your rep power goes up by one every 50 rep points, or every 1000 posts, or every 6 months I believe.

If that's the case then why does it say I have one rep power? Cause up till now it said I had zero

Rep Power is at zero until you reach 25 posts. That way, new members can't abuse other people's rep points.
Rep Points are a rough estimate of how much people in the forums like your posts. Rep Power shows how much you can influence a person's Rep Points.

I have a question...Other people can give rep points to other members right? When they give them rep points how many points do they give? Say if someone had 10 does that mean 10 people gave them points?

I have 38 Rep Power. If I added or subtracted from you, it would either be an addition of 38 or a subtraction of 38.
Rep Power determines how much you can affect someone else's Rep Points. The amount added or subtracted equals the Rep Power of the person who modified your Rep Points.

O....so its increased or decreased by the power the giver has. So if someone powerful really liked your post than you get lots of points whereas if some newb who only has 1 or so tries to mess with it there isnt a huge difference?

Yes.
Members who have been here longer and have posts that other members approve of more can make more of an influence on other people's Rep Points, because they have more Rep Power.

Everyone starts out with 10 Rep Points.
You can click the scale any time under your own posts to see how many Rep Points you have. Clicking other's scales, however, is how you add or subtract Rep from them.

And also in addition to clicking the scale, you can go to your user CP to see how many rep POINTS you have. Rep POWER is different and shows much you can affect rep points.

Umm, it may not show up in the UserCP because you haven't been repped yet, but when you do you can go there
