Chiodos look them up. They are my favorite band and they are emo/indie and Mychildren MyBride is a good one too. Sky eats airplane, The Devil Wears Prada. Those are all my favorites.

If you like Bullet For My Valentine then I suggest you try Trivium and Avenged Sevenfold. Avoid "The crusade" by Trivium and Aveneged Sevenfold's self-titled album if you're looking for the typical metalcore sound, if not, and you want a more straight out metal type appreoach then go ahead with "The Crusade" and Aveneged Sevenfold's self-titled album, they're great albums.

Breaking Benjamin
Trapt
Avenged Sevenfold
Yellowcard
Lost Prophets
Flyleaf
Paramore
Three Days Grace

Not all of the above are emo, but good enough. Most people I know who listen to emo, myself included, have been fond of these.

You know, there is such thing as emo music, it's just not what 95% of the teenage population thinks it is.

As for bands that you might like:
Senses Fail
Scary Kids Scaring Kids

Bon Jovi - My favorite band, but they've done a lot of different genres, so you might not find what you're looking for after the first song. If you like rock, go with "Have A Nice Day", "It's My Life", and "You Give Love A Bad Name".

Ozzy Osbourne - Also really great. Look at "Mr. Crowley", "Crazy Train", "Bark At The Moon", and "Let Me Hear You Scream".

Daughtry - Also rock, but they've done a few things that are closer to pop. Look at "What I Meant To Say", "You Don't Belong", and "There And Back Again".
