I have no idea where this goes, but it has a lot to do with a regular school schedule so...
What do you prefer to write with when doing school work?

Pens, erasable pens, regular pencils, mechanical pencils, crayons, colored pencils, markers, sharpies, etc??

My favorite thing to write with is mechanical pencils. I also like to decorate with colored pencils.

I prefer mechanical pencils too but can't write most English papers using a pencil most have to be done in black ink.

Not fussed, I write with anything unless it leaves a mess on ur sheet like a gel pen, marker etc..

I only use pencils for drawing (or if im writing something important and dont want to mess it up and then go over in pen)

Black ink ballpoint pen - for all writing.

Pencil [Mechanical/normal] -for graphs/diagrams

Generally in most things I have come across like job application, bank forms etc you have to use a plain black ball point pen.

I prefer to do all work in pen and sharpie. For designs and drawings I like to use mechanical pencils, and the occasional colored pencil :D.

I can write neater with a pencil. Although a biro is best for me as being left handed i end up smudging most other things!

I like writing with pens when I find one thats nice to write with. But if I cant I have to try and find a pencil thats nice to write with.
But most of the time I write biro's.

Black ink/black ballpoint pens for exams (required).

Black or blue pens when writing in general, i.e. notes, homework essays, and so on.

Pencil for drawing diagrams and pictures.

Since I never color in school, I just write with regular pencils because I never have mechanical pencils, which I prefer.

Ball point pens for me, hate pencils because I'm left handed and therefore smudge anything written in pencil really easily.

Generally, mechanical pencils, or black ink pens.

Recently however I've been using my (exactly) 4B pencil I use in art to write with and for some reason I've pulled out the pack of Prismacolor too.

For lectures, generally it's in pen, blue or black, ball-point or the ones that glob a lot of ink. I may also use mechanical pencils for lectures. For quizzes or tests, usually I just write with mechanical pencils because I learned from my mistake on my chemistry term test where I may one hell of a mess using pens. For recording data in labs, pen or pencil.

Although, for us some professors may re-mark your tests/quizzes (TA's mark the first time and professors do any re-marks) if it's in pen. Some are more lenient and will mark it even if it is in pencil although they're technically not supposed to.

I use black pen for everything. I just like ink. Pencil can just rub off and become illegible.

Mechanical pencil for writing, regular pencil for drawing/sketching, normal black pen for quick notes, and a black fountain pen if I need to make my writing look good.
