What exactly will you major in?

Is your major special to your college?

How will you use your major?

What exactly will you major in? I want to major in Vocal Performance, and then move on to Music Education, specifically with a choir. But that might change...It's what I want to do now, and I bet it's really hard to get into a college on your voice alone.

Is your major special to your college? No. I don't think I could get into a music conservatory.

How will you use your major? I would use the vocal performance degree to help interpret pieces that I have the choir sing, and use the education degree to help me manage a choir.

Excuse my naiveness (not the right word but whatever lol), but what does "majoring" in something? We don't use that word here. I know it's something to do with studying, but what exactly does it mean?

Hmm.. i believe I will major in astronomy or physics and get a Ph.D, depends on which I can get a job in easier, or teach it at a university. But, that might fail because I will too be lazy to do math every day.
Or, I will get a Ph.D in history and become a college proffessor for that as well. :)

I'll be in my third year of university come September so it will be double major biology and psychology and doing some extra statistics courses. I initially thought about adding a minor in statistics but I'd have to do a whole pile more of courses that I don't have the time to do.

Ideally, I'll go to grad. school afterwards and get a PhD or PsyD and do research more or clinical work more for neuroscience, neuropsychology, etc... .

Okay, here are my plans as of late.

Undergrad
Political Science
Music Education

Then begin teaching as a mus. teacher

Grad
Masters in Music Education (depending on how things are going there)
Law school

Then from there I will get into politics hopefully and teach music. Doable? I hope so :P
