He means when you just KNOW what sexuality you are, an don't feel scared or worried about it, and also when you don't hate yourself for what you are...

That largely doesn't come into being straight, as I guess everybody assumes you start out straight so if you are different you have some explaining to do... But hey! It 'ent choice so I should stop complaining (:^.
