would you rather date someone who is really hot but really stupid or someone who is ugly and smart.

I agree, just being a genius is not going make me attracted to them.

Now I couldn't date a dumb person, i tend to use some rather big words:P plus I need the intelligent conversations, but there has to be physical attraction.

I think, that my dates would be in the middle, I mean, some one who is cute or beautiful and perhaps not so smart, but yeah, with intelligence. Now, I don't think that not all the pretty girls need to be dumb, I have had dates with very beautiful and smart girls.

Now, not only the intelligence and the looking of the girl is needed to be noticed, but also how her personality is. I like when they are very honest and lovely.

I've not voted on the poll. I couldn't be with someone stupid, but there has to be at least a certain level of physical attraction. Don't get me wrong, personality and intelligence is far more important, but the physical attraction must still be there.

This is backed up by the fact that the girl that I currently like is not only somewhat (well, if im being honest, extremely) beautiful, but is abouts to begin studying at either Oxford or Cambridge.

the person i like i'm atttracted to the person he is, i love his appearance but it wasnt that which attracted me - he isnt seen as hot by people, i wouldnt call him hot, but that doesnt mean i think he's ugly.

so, its kind of half?
and as shallow as it sounds, i dont think i would ever date someone hideously ugly - though, generally someone CAN be seen as ugly by most people, but the person dating them will see differently. if that makes sense.

or, sometimes the person dating them is just shallow...
mind you, i'm shallow myself sometimes.

Physical appearance is not that important to me; especially when it comes to intelligence. I don't want a wife that doesn't understand half the concepts put to her. Besides, it will probraly affect her ability to do her share of the housework and a marriage will not work if this becomes too much of a problem. I don't always need to look at her, now do I?

Anywho, back on topic. I couldn't date someone completely stupid, never. Although their does need to be somewhat of a physical attraction for a good relationship to maintain well. I'd rather date someone not very good looking and intelligent than someone gorgeous and dumb. I would end up murdering the stupid person within a week of dating them otherwise.

As long as our interests are similar enough, I wouldn't care whether she were "smart" or "stupid." That goes for her attraction also. If she shares a similar personality, it wouldn't matter.

I could not take a dumb person. I love talking and if the person can't keep up then we are going to have major issues.
