Having a bad day. The antidepressants were supposed to work but they aren't today. Doctor said they'd take a while to work and todays the only day this has happened. But I want it all to end, I want to die. But I can't 'cause I signed the pledge in the sticky and because my new baby cousin needs me, i need to keep her safe.
But it's so so hard. I'm tempted not to take the pills anymore 'cause they didn't work today.
Help.

No don't think like that Cathy.... You had a bad day, now just put it behind you and concentrate on tomorrow.
Don't stop taking your tablets..... If they aren't working for you just tell your doctor and they will prescribe you different ones.
Just stay strong hun. Xx

Don't stop the pills love. Your doctor said they would take time, and you are having a bad day. You can get out of this. Just get some sleep and tommorrow will be a new and better day. If your meds continue not to work, tell your doctor pronto so he can prescribe you a new medication, but don't stop taking them without him okay-ing it first.
I hope you feel better, love.

Meds are probably fuckin' you up more than not taking them. Anti-depressants are actually very bad, lol.

I wouldn't take them.

Thats not very good advice.

My dear, you should keep on those pills, just because they didn't kick in well today doesn't mean they wont tomorrow.

I feel like dying every now and then, it comes and goes i find. And after the feeling goes away your happy and thankful you didn't commit suicide, and you start noticeing and enjoying the smaller things in life to take away the pain and keep your mind off those problems. :)

And from what medical or personal experience do you base that off of?

-----

Assuming that what you are taking is an SSRI, it takes a lot of time to build up in your system to become effective. I personally am on zoloft (sertaline) and it tooka bout 4 weeks for it to effectively build up in my system and become effective. If you stoip taking it, you have to restart from the start.

Eh you dont need on Vindication. what you need is 1. experience, what I mean by this is, seeing the affects it has had on other people, which from my experience the affects are bad. 2. think about it what do meds like anti-depressants do? They help 'reduce' depression, this will cause a dependence with most people, not only that but it will also cause them to loose control they had previously had. =o Most profesionals have never gone through these problems and don't understand what their talking about, I don't trust them one bit.(But me personally would rather go to a Christian than go to the world trained 'profesionals')3. If they are still depressed then it shows that the drug itself is not working, and therefor is apsolutely pointless, and will most likely do more harm then good.

Anti-depresssants usually take up to about 2 weeks to start working properly
