Hey i'm hoping someone can give me a serious answer on this. I've had a problem with what i've only just recently discoverd to be gynecomastia. Its been ongoing since I started puberty and hasent gone away in over 4 years. The diffrence I have to the people I see on the net after doing research is that there is no real sag, its just my areola are extremely puffy and make my chest look really odd. Im not the skinniest of people by any strech of the imagination but i've read some things that say when you have gynecomastia if you press down you feel like a button growth. I don't have this, infact I have more like an indent dose this mean if I exercise it will go away or do I have to do something drastic like surgery?
Thanks if anyone can help it will be appreciated

if it looks like you have breasts, do something about it, talk 2 ur doc. we have a mate in school like this, no1 says anything, but the stigma is there. have u tried the gym or a trainer? they may know ways to minimise this. any girls notice or say anything 2 u?

I think that if you lose a couple pounds that will help but will in nosn't a cure for this condition. People have seen it before, so I dont think you will have way solve the condition. When you get older surgery is an option, but there really an issue with it persay. You just need to be confident in yourself and your look.

Well thats the problem I never take my jumper off at school ever. That can be a bad thing especially now its summer. I'm struggling to find excuses. No one knows about it yet besides the members in my family who just accept it and don't say anything. When looking at images on the net and after sort ove examining them I keep trying to convince myself if I "buffed" up where the fat would disappear and turn into muscle it would flatten them out. The fat deposit behind the nipple is not hard and feels as if I could easily loose it. I just wanted to know before I started to do something so that I diden't end up dissapointed. And it dosent look like I have breasts its just really really puffy nipples like the areola extend atleast a centimeter. I also don't really know how to go about consulting a doctor. The nearest doctor is quite a while away so my perants would have to drive me and I don't want to go through the embaressment of talking it over with them. :/
