Hi Guys,
I live in Scotland and i know that most people over here are not circumcised. I am, and have been since I was about 5 for medical reasons. People in my school always laugh when anyone mensions jews (no offence to them i have nothing against them) because they have to be circumcised. I always try not to get into that stuff, but I am worried about like in a few years in high school, i'll have to start using the showers and people will see it and abuse me. What should I do?? and also what about when i'm older and want to have sex -- will girls notice or even bother?? Answer back plz.

I honestly don't think your friends will make fun of you if they see your penis. They are just laughing becasue they are awkwardly talking about genitalia. Something that most of them don't normally do, and when they get the chance to talk about them openly, they see it as a chance to laugh. I don't think they would actually make fun of you for being circumcised.

They probably will not make fun of you. The only reason they laugh at others is because they are insecure about themselves
If they do then just reply (very loudly) ''why are you looking at my dick'' or something like that. That will shut them up quick

^ That's actually a great reply to tell them.
Really, if they do make fun of you, just tell them to not be jealous, or something along that nature. I mean, being cut is definitely less work.

I think, you shouldn't give it so much importance about what your friends really think. Every one has differences and those make us specially. So, don't care about it, the point here is that you must feel comfortable with yourself.

I think girls could careless but post it in the section so you can ask the girls if they do. But I am circumcised and don't let anyone bother you about it.

People tend to not care when being serious. For example, me and my friends often have joked about circumcision (mainly Jewish related jokes, just light-hearted, nothing racist, we're not racists) however one friend once claimed he may need to be circumcized, and nobody laughed at him, most people actually very keen to understand why, and were serious about the topic.
Plus once you hit high school people become more mature, so it will not be joked about.

I'm the opposite, uncut in a world of cut people.
Let's not get into one of those inevitable 'cut's better' debates!
My guess is people will be more likely to just be curious, and if they laugh it'll be because they're nervous. I also went to school in Scotland before moving to the US and when I got here, people didnt really care, they were more like 'oh really? what's it like?'
So I wouldn't worry too much! :)

If people bother you in the showers, I would tell the coach. I mean seriously, they're fucking morons if they do that. Why do they care about YOUR penis anyway? Are they gay?
I'm pretty sure that you can just tell your girl about it and she will understand. I mean she's gotta understand that there's more than one dick out there.

I wouldn't get too worried about it. Those sorts of comments are just a sign of insecurity. I might disagree with others that no one will mention anything; I think there's a decent chance some jackass will, but the retort listed above is generally a good one for that type of stuff. Also keep in mind that being cut isn't just a Jewish thing, about 80% of American guys are too. You're not alone. :)

Ya, a lot of guys are probably curious about stuff like that but it is nothing to be ashamed of. Of all the guys I know there is only one that is uncut (don't ask how I know). It is nothing wierd in the US. In fact here most people think that those that are uncut are different. As to people being more mature in high school I know that in my school, high schoolers are the most imature people. Sorry, but thats the truth. I wouldn't worry about it cause chances are at least one of you friends or someone else will be cut as well.

As an FYI, anytime someone uses a defining physical characteristic to belittle, humiliate, or otherwise make someone feel poorly about themself it's 'rascist', or maybe more precisely, bigotry. So, using someone's circ status to belittle them and equate them with another religion, is engaging in racism. Even if you 'don't mean it' or 'have nothing against them'. Most racism/bigotry is insidious, it's not 'open' and often, the people engaging in it aren't aware of what they're doing. Be aware!.
As you've noted, teenagers arent the miost open minded, tolerant, and accepting people in the span of human development. So, you might face some 'comments' about your penis being different. It might be a good idea to prepare yourself, so it doesn"t hurt as much, and that you maybe have a response to it that will hopefully minimize it. The last thing you want is to show vulnerability. High schoolers are such savages, you know.
As for girls reactions, well that's entirely different! Unless you're going to sleep with girls very casually, where there's no emotional connection, girls really don't care about penis *stuff* at all. If they decide to share themselves with you, it means that they like/love you enough and are accepting enough of you to not care.
