I have the same thing. I notice it like 20 times everyday. I fall asleep and my foot is going back and forth as fast as it can. I wake up and the same thing. Im playing video games...ditto. Im doing anything where my legs are elevated......you guessed it, ditto.

I have it too. It annoys my friends and teacher so much! I try so hard but it only makes it worse when i think about it. I don't have a problem with it when i'm sleeping its just sitting down and sometimes standing up.

I think I have RLS as well. I've never had it diagnosed by a doctor, but I will next time I go in. Its extremely annoying to other people. I have actually gotten used to it myself.

Somehow I doubt a bunch of kids on a teen forum are going to be any help in diagnosing you.

Do some research, and if you still think you have it, go to the doctor.

I doubt as well anyone of you has RLS, RLS is not really shaking. Its a huge urge to just walk all the time, it keeps you up and basically its like a nicotine addiction not really but. Its like your addicted to walking, and its not tingling, we are talking serious pain. You are young teenagers, ever stop to think that it might just be growing pains? I mean growing pains ache and they can make you feel "Tingly" as they say.

well, i'm pretty sure i'm not growing any more, and i don't shake and i do have to move. or i'm in serious pain. and it's frustrating like no other, cause sometimes i just wanna relax, and it prevents me from doing so sometimes :(

I am seeing a doctor for it as well as a.d.h.d. and a.d.d. I really don't know the difference but I am going to be diagnosed sometime in the next month.

If you have add, and adhd then you certainly do not have RLS, because your either just hyper or focusing on it too much.

Wait a minute here.
You guys know what a truism is? That's something that's overgeneralized so it applies to everyone. And, very often, when you self diagnose based on those online thingies, that's what you get. And inaccurate diagnosis.
There are many things that cause many symptoms, b/c you fit the criteria based on some online check list doesnlt necessarily mean you have the underlying condition. For example, if you have a cough doesnlt mean you have TB. There are a lot of other things that can account for the same symptom.
Also, you ever hear of the "Law of Parsimony"? That states the easiest explaination for something is preferable. So, you want to start with the easiest and most plausible cause for something. In this case of suspected RLS, maybe overexertion?
Before you jump to conclusions based on TV advertising for a medication, or an online check list, go thru the obvious first.
