I got a rep point recently, but I'm not sure what it means. It's neither red or green, it's grey. What does the grey one mean?

It means the one giving it to you had 0 rep power, thus it neither increased nor decreased your points.

Yea, it means that the person that gave it to you's rep was neutral.

Most likely because hes a n00b and has no rep power yet or its an older member that had some rep subtracted away so they are at zero.
