A few days ago, I was listening to my iPod with some Bose in-ear head phones. Right in the middle of a song, the left ear bud had stopped playing music and only the right one worked. So I turned off my iPod and sound resumed in the left bud, but at a very quiet volume, no matter how much I turned the volume control on my iPod up.

Does anyone know what is going on? Should I buy a new pair of head phones?

I've got the same earphones, and sometimes have the same problem. Usually unplugging them/plugging them back in works fine. I have an iPod Touch, if that makes a difference.

Thanks a lot for replying. I am currently using another pair of ear buds that my father recieved with his iPod classic, which are working fine right now. I'll give this a try later on tonight. If they are still not working, then I'll more than likely throw them out.
