(I sent this to someone on youtube. That's why it seems unlike me.)
I was talking to my friend and he said that he knew how to jailbreak an iPod touch and he sorta told me how to. Then it diddn't work so I called him and asked him about it and he came over to try to help and he downloaded all this crap. Then he said he just guessed on how to do it and now I think I have a problem with my iPod because of this. My iPod won't sync most times I try and when it does, it doesn't back it up. All he did was download some stuff but I think it is doing something to my itunes. I need help. How can I fix this? It it as simple as deleting what he downloaded? Please help. My friend is useless and I don't know anyone else who can help.

I would like to jailbreak it but I don't want it bad enough to never be able to sync it so...

My suggestion would be to try and find some way which you can do a flat out ipod restore. If you have everything you need on iTunes, there's no danger, you can just re-synch it once it's back to normal.

Should I just delete the downloaded stuff then?
