Well, as I've posted with all my other pictures, I've been trying to teach myself how to draw manga/anime, and I'd love to know what you think. In this picture, I was trying to make her resemble a fox... and the scythe was only included in the picture because I didn't feel like drawing a background. Thanks! :)

Drawn with:

-Prismacolor Markers
-Copic Sketch Markers
-Faber-Castell inking pens

That is an epicly awesome picture.

I love the way you shade, and love the attention you pay to detail. The ONLY criticism I have is that the way she is holding her legs seems to be a little bit unnatural...

But love it otherwise. :) Hope to see more from you soon.

I know the legs seem a little bit awkward......... It was because I was trying to give the impression that she was about ready to jump... like to pounce on something [like a fox], but one leg is at an angle from the front, and the other angled from the side, so overall, lol that's what makes it look unnatural, i think.

Very good, I like how you did the light off the hair, I've seen many people struggle with it.
Colors are superb. (But you already knew that since Prismacolor kicks ass)
I agree that you need a little work on your poses.
Still think you could have done more with the eyes though.

That looks amazing, a lot better than anything I could ever draw. You've got some real talent there :)

Lol, the thing is, I can draw poses, I was just trying to do something a little bit unusual.... and it ended up looking unnatural... and yes, I like Prismacolor markers, but I would really prefer to use Copic markers.... but I can't really afford them :whoops: ... Yea, I think I'm gonna put more detail into the eyes in my next pic. Thanks! :)

hmmmm... i love the coloring.

pose wise, it should have been a little more of an angle, showing the foot a little more, and her looking at where she was aiming to jump... in my opinion =\

.... I think I just realized why it looks so awkward to everyone else... lol. In track, I do high jump, and thats about the same angle that would work, because in most cases we jump backwards to go over the bar....... but I guess that wouldn't be very useful in this situation.... .... or maybe just jumping upward in general, not any specific direction. ^-^;
