So we all know every relationship has it's highs and lows, break-ups are never a pleasent thing for anyone with half a heart, but is there something that you wish you could've dealt with better when it was all over? I have a number of regrets in life but what are yours...?

I don't regret anything.
I've learnt from each experience, and was glad to go through them.

I regret liking anyone that i have liked ever. Every girl i have liked has hurt me one way or another and has only been a bad experience. It has turned me away from liking anyone anymore and now in during my summer going into my junior year, I'm the only one out of my friends without a girlfriend of my own, and that leaves me very bored and alone. I have tried numerous times and it always ends up the same. so i regret even trying, and will NO LONGER try anymore.
LIKING SOMEONE is OVERRATED and never lasts :( or in my case, never gets started... :(

I regret allowing myself to be overruled. I regret taking things more seriously than what was true value, which really was face value. I regret wasting time on something that never really added up to much of anything.
I regret loving multiple times and still keeping up with it although the feeling has never been reciprocated.

I have been there SO many times before, mate it's unreal... I know exactly how you feel: hurt, bitter, alone. The worst part is you can't tell yourself it won't happen again and that the next girl will be Miss Right because she won't... But look at it this way- wouldn't you rather wait, and find a girl who will really accept you for who you are, or would you rather just go out with someone now who won't make an effort to understand or care about you, who'd flirt and flaunt with any guy she sees and have you doubting she's even being faithful?

I'm not living an illusion either, my last gf made me see clearer ~ don't burn your bridges... When the right girl comes, she won't be a Hollywood actress (let's face it) but she'll be more than just a quick smile...

She'll be there for you...

I regret saying "forever"

same here to my last gf. At least she was the one who left me. So it doesn't hurt as much. ;)

This, there is no point having regrets as you cannot change the past, so you should learn from the experience so it can affect the future.

I regret not leaving when my mom opened the door and told me to leave. But I grew up from my mistakes and I learned. Take responsibility for yourself. Because you are the only one who can.

I regret not cherishing and remembering (dates) of the first time I kissed my bf (now fiance) and all the other firsts I had with him......and if I ONLY NEW that the butterflies would eventually go away each time we kissed, I would have not takien them for granted!!! The butterflies still come back every now and then, but not like the first year or so when each time we basically touched i felt butterflies...
