A poem I wrote after a phone conversation/argument that sorta pissed me off :/
Don’t tell me you did nothing wrong,
When you know I have the proof,
A little girl shivering from the fear,
As down her cheek runs the silent tear,
You know I’m speaking the truth.
Don’t tell me you’re not to blame,
When you know you tore me apart,
Stop with your petty excuses,
When you know I have the bruises,
Spread like patchwork across my heart.
Don’t tell me you didn’t mean to hurt me,
Nor that you loved me all along,
We both know you’re just lying,
And you will never see me crying,
Now those long past days are gone.
