A child who sits on the wall to watch.
Like in the tree as a cat does prey.
To prey on birds or people’s minds.
Mice in the field or fears of the heart.
The child on the wall to stalk his prey.

Not with rough shoves or words of hate.
But with open arms and loving hands.
Leaving quiet impressions.
On the soul that wants.
As each quiet thought lands.

On the wall the child sits.
The child of doubt tries to scare.
On the wall the other sees.
He watches close as not to fear.
As child of doubt makes some not care.

Child of doubt to tug and pull.
Child of doubt to make things wrong.
But on the wall the quiet one sits.
Waiting and loving as ever he could.
Without a voice he sings a song.

“Coming again, oh yes again.
Coming again the answer is near.
Bringing us hope as not to fall.
Showing us love and not too small.
Coming again the answer is here.”
