I crashed my car and the glass
Oh it shattered across the neon
Lighting of the shadows beneath
The chassis of my '04 Taurus,
And I noticed a harsh, reddish liquid
Seep from underneath where I could not see!
In a dimly lit room, with a cold metal feel,
I was held and interrogated, can't you see?
I couldn't believe what was happening!
They said that the red was the blood
From a man, a man who was hit by
My four door sedan.
I was forced in the darkness
To sign a deal, it would let me free
If I claimed I believed
It all was an accident and that I seemed
To realize my guilt, apologetically...
But an interdictory clause in my contract
Didn't let me go!
It didn't let me breathe!
Oh will I ever know
How I have been deceived?
Now I'm so cold and alone,
With a sickening feeling,
Deep in my stomach its slowly revealing
Itself as a viral contagious disease and
I'm wondering what's going on inside me...
'Cos an interdictory clause in my contract
Has forced me to wonder if what I had done was,
Truly vehicular manslaughter and if
The red liquid truly was blood from a man
And if I had just not been, viciously scammed and...
I'm cold and alone,
With a sickening feeling,
Deep in my stomach its slowly revealing
Itself as a viral contagious diesease and
I'm wondering what's going on inside me...
Is this guilt, is this despair?
Is this regret, is my thinking impaired?
Why is it cold out, why am I dying?
What's going on, what's with all this lying?
Why is my freedom my downfall, my fiefdom is falling out! Its falling out!
An interdictory clause in my contract
It will not let me go!
It will not let me breathe!
And oh I do not know
Why this is happening... To me!
Oh it shattered across the neon
Lighting of the shadows beneath
