Well, we all have different pasts and different sensitivities.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that everyone reacts the same to these things. I am not a member of that group. I don't like the name of that group.

Also, I didn't nag you on your grammar.
I pointed out your incorrect spelling and that the words "psychotic" and "psycho" are actually incorrectly used in your post. That's not correcting your grammar.

Stop. Fighting. I don't care if you don't agree, just stop, and get on with the OP. that is why VT is a little on edge right now.

Back to the subject. Sadly, your grandparents are your grandparents, so as long as you live in their house, you need to obey their ways. I understand how annoying this can get, I would hate it too, but sometimes you just have to man up and deal with it, which in this case is just shutting up and doing what they demand.

*Damn! That Will guy with the cool nick got this one, too!* lolz.

Yeah, I think you have to do a couple of things here. First, if they have certain standards, you'd do well to understand and accept them (NOT necessarily agree with them). Families work not so much b/c everyone agrees, but that everyone understands, and that the harmony of the family is more improtant than your own convienence, so sometimes you have to do things that maybe you don't like.

The other part of being in a family and listening and accepting things, is that the reverse is true: If you have a real and major problem with some family expectation, *they* will at least hear you out, if you're able to talk calmly and reasonably about your concerns and not sound like a petulant teenager. So, if you're really bothered by their rules around neatness, or their response to your not being so, you can try to work out some compromise some of the time.

I think I would need to hear both sides of the story to judge this...but assuming you didn't leave anything out of your OP, and everything is shipshape and Bristol-fit and not a sty, you should just indulge them and put things back in place.
