You destroyed my transformer,
Turning my well lit establishment
Into a dark, barren pit
Of utter and catastrophic nothingness.

I despise your repetitive nature,
And your immature habit
Of getting rid of anything
That stands (or sits, or kneels) in your way.

It doesn't matter if the old man
Was praying, if he was in your breathing space,
He doesn't have a right to disrespect
The future you'll honestly never have.

You left me looking into an empty room,
Seeing nothing, but hearing the sounds
Of a scared voice, echoing repeatedly,
Saying things I didn't want to hear,
But couldn't truly understand.

They say at a young age
We enjoy everything,
And yet we hate everything.
They say we grow to miss that age
When we grow older.

I don't quite know who 'they' are,
But they are right.
Nowadays I just hate everything,
And take no joy in the fact
That you left me in darkness
Pondering my future,
But more often,
My past.
