I want 2 know if anyone put together the outcome of puberty surveys. It would be nice 2 see the results. Like what the avg. of everthing is.
In the puberty survey where everyone puts their number, I wish someone can devide it up the girls and boys seperate and also put them in number order. There is so much it is overwellming.

Not an admin but here's my take.

1) That would be a huge amount of work with excel, considering there's about 150(?) pages or survey there

2) Avereging results could give wrong impressions about what was "normal". I suppose you could calculate in standard norms n such but still, there would be people who fell outside of it

Why the hell do you need it? If you care so much about this kind of (personal opinion) shit, then google it and find some proper statistics..

Fact is problably 90% of the survey answers we have on this site are full of BS.

And yes the amount of work involved would be completly insane.. I'm sure you could use excel or a script to pull in all the date from the net.. But I imagine there will be a few complications and such.. And even if its a day job its a job thats a waste of time in my opinion

I think it is perfectly fine for him to be curious as to what the results were.
I do agree that a lot of the survey answers here are BS but some people actually do answer them truthfully to try to help us out.

Umm, there is an excel spreadsheet that is already made from the quiksurvey used...I guess I can give it to you guys if the admins let me...It shouldnt be THAT much work, I would have to investigate...I would give you guys some select feedback on what the results were if the senior staff is okay with it.

Wait, the actual stickied surveys or the survey that was in an announcement like 2 months ago?

Oops, well in that case!

Yea, the survey results is wayyy too much work. Unless you want to take it upon yourself to do it

at least maybe somone can put all the answers in order of age or order of the number of their results so if we want we can contact those that are similar to one another and ask them how they feel about where they are holding and if we have the same feelings.

I suggest if you want to contact people that are similar to you, you start from the end and go towards the beginning of the thread reading posts. There is no way to rearrange posts and it would take AGES to go through and arrange all responses into a survey average thingy.

I do agree with you that the current system is a mess and its frustrating and there are better ways to organize statistical information than how it is now.

However, we simply do not have the man-power to put up such a system. Everything here is volunteer work and this site already requires a lot of work as it is.

Thanks for your suggestion, though. It really does have merits.

I am sure that there are a couple guys out there that are learning to make spead sheets and would be happy to help. If the manangement can make an announcement asking for help I'm pretty sure that someone would love to do it. There are so many that like this site and want it to be the best.
