Also, what one person might see as flirting, another person might just see it as being friendly... its all a matter of opinion, trust and communication.

It depends on what your definition of flirting is. I am very jealous...I wouldn't want joseph flirting with someone else.....no it isn't cheating (depending on how far you take it) but it can still hurt a person deeply.
Joseph and I are very open though..I don't mind him saying he thinks someone is pretty..that's fine....there are a lot of pretty women on this planet *glares evily at lynne* lol but I think when you love/like a person you need to be 100% faithful to that person if youre in a relationship with them..otherwise let yourself be single lol anway..yeah I think I rambled...lol

i'm in a relatonship thats urrently been going on for 17months,
i dont consider flirting cheating
but i would never flirt with another girl infront of my girl or expect her to do so infront of me

i'm a naturally very flirty person, i get on very well with girls, more so then boys, and so i always fool around with them whatever, doesnt mean anything, no feelings there, but its considered flirting

you just have to be very sensitive of your other halfs feeling.

It'd really have to do with the person(s) in the relationship. If you are ok with it, and he/she sees it as a way of cheating, then I guess it's wrong, but if both of you see it as just goofing around, it's fine.

well normally people flirt when they show interest in someone. on the other hand if its just being friendly then its ok. as long as u love who you are with and arent flirting to get another girl its fine

Here's the whole thing about people getting possessive over their significant other: Pretty much, if you have a boy/girl friend, they should be the person of opposite gender that you feel most comfortable around and hang around the most. If you have a girl/boy friend they shouldn't be talking to some other guy/girl all the time. It's not possessive, it's just the point of having a girl/boyfriend.

So if you're going out with a person that's the person you should be around all the time, and the person you should be flirty with.
