Most of my punctuation is coming out as stuff like an e, with the French accent on it. This is frustrating. I dont know whats wrong, and I prefer my spelling to have correct punctuation.

Are you set to a different language somehow?

I think so. It's only doing it for VT. The reason why I have correct punctuation is because I copied/pasted them all from a MSN chat.

Have you got your language options set correctly on VT?

I'm not sure, how do I check?

That goes for both the language on my keyboard, and on VT.

Well, actually I don't know if you can on VT, sorry. But in Windows (I have 7 but its pretty much the same as Vista, I think), you go to Control Panel-->Clock, Language, and Region-->Change display Language. Then under Keyboards and Languages, click on Change Keyboards... Then under General, select the Country listed under Keyboard in the Installed Services section. Then click Properties. It should come up with a display of the layout of the keyboard.

I hope this helped, and that it is clear. Again, this is in Windows 7, so it might be slightly different in Vista or XP

In the area defined by my picture, there may be either something that looks like that (XP) or a small keyboard icon (Vista). Try fooling around, and select English (US). Always happens on my mom's comp for no reason, that was the fix for us.

That's odd, but it worked. Thanks. Oh, by the way, I am running Firefox on XP, this is weird because other than the skin colour, your picture looks exactly the same as my computer screen.
