I made a post here a while ago about thinking about suicide. In the end, I tried to do it, but I couldn't even kill myself... All that happened was a huge amount of cuts ... Why couldnt I just get it over with? Now im stuck with trying to find out why I should be alive still... And I still cant do it. I hate myself for failing.

Really you hate yourself for failing to kill yourself? Thats not right!, Try and think of the bigger future, you got your whole life ahead of you man! Do you want to throw it all away? What your going through now is unlikely to continue throughout all of your life! Most people have reality moments in their 20's and stop. Others before hand, and some dont. But i know you can get over this! Try to have your dreams, try your best to do as good as you can, you deserve to live! and your not a failure, your a live person.
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
This means, once you've done it, your gone and dead all because of a problem that could have been fixed in other ways. Also you could set of a chain reaction, and cause othher people to SI/SH. Surely you dont want this? But this is what COULD happen. So seriously think hard about the FUTURE and the great, or at least better, life that you WILL have!

mate, i don't know why you tried to kill yourself, but i do know that is a GOOD thing that you didn't succeed, many people who attempt it, years later regret it...a lot...
the fact that you failed surely means that you are meant to keep living your life...the fact that you are were even born is also testament to that...you wouldn't have been born if you weren't meant to live...
feel free to PM me :)

Don't feel ashamed. Being alive is nothing to be ashamed of.
You are still with us because there is something inside of you that can see at least one thing worth living for. You may not be wholly aware of it right now, but it is there.
I know this may sound like the regurgitated crap that many do-gooder's spew without fully understanding. But I have been there. I attempted, failed and am in a much better position now than I was then.
If you choose to take this as another chance at life then you too can improve your situation in life.
