So today, my new group of friends, i'm sitting around in a circle, and i swear every so often they look at my scars. NO ONE asks any questions. I talk to my friend (who is in the group) on msn and explain what i thought they were looking at and you know what she said

I didnt notice. i was like... OMG wow... they didnt actually notice, or didnt actually care!! These are a group of friends i dont wanna lose!

maybe next time your all together in a group, talk to them about it, and that you're trying to beat it. be open and honest about it.

Yeah i will, but i'm just glad no one noticed. I may strike a conversation about past problems etc. and stuff like that then say it. and then get their support and all :)

That's brilliant! I'm glad :) Yesterday was the first time I went out with my friends with my arms uncovered, admitted only 2 of them, I met up briefly with another friend and only she asked about them and spoke to me about her own scars too. That was the only mention they got, the other two friends knew already but had never seen and they said they didn't notice when I asked on msn later, even though I caught one of them sneakily starring lol it didn't bother me as much as it would've had he not known that I self harm in advance. I would've punched someone if they said something nastily though. (says the small 5 ft 6 girl who wouldn't hurt a fly)
