So lately whenever I use my iPod touch for extended periods of Internet browsing it starts getting really hot. It's only about 6 months old. It never did this when I first got it. Is this just because of old age or something I've done wrong with it. I do keep it in my pocket all day. Ideas? 0.o

I can't think of any reason off the top of my headd as to why it would start getting overly hot.
When you say it gets hot, do you mean that it gets so hot you can't hold it, or just rather warm?

Mine is doing the same thing. I'd say it has something to do with the wireless card getting hot.

Almost too hot to hold. I've discovered that I had the brightness all the way up, which contributed to it. But it could be the wireless card I suppose, because it's often in places with limited service

That would make sense.
I googled it earlier and some other people had reported having problems with how hot it was getting after prolonged use with WiFI enabled / high brightness set.
Nout to worry about really :)
