So we were riding the bus home from a baseball game, and the softball team was riding on the same bus.

One of the girls mentioned that they really needed to pee. So we got into this conversation about who could hold it longer, boys or girls.

We decided that it was boys, because of everybody on the bus most of the boys had to go but had needed to since around lunch time but hadn't gone since before school that morning. The girls mostly all had to go to, some pretty bad, but they had all gone just before we left school for the game.

Just wondering what everybody here thought, if girls or boys can hold it longer.

I am sure there are several factors which play an important role about who can hold it longer such as: bladder size, how much you have had to drink, how hot you are etc So I am sure there are some boys who can hold longer than girls and vice versa

As far as I am aware, female bladders are smaller than males', due to the fact that they have to accommodate a uterus in there too! :)

I am able to hold ot for a good few hours anyway. I'm not sure about how long girls can hold it, because that doesn't really come in my conversations with girls :D

That's an interesting theory. I've never heard that one... though it makes sense, I guess.


Though this is completely anicdoetal and not evidence, I'll tell you that all the women in my famliy (mom, aunts, sisters), and my girlfriend too, all can't hold it for very long. When we go on family outings or to an amusment park or something, I'm the one who can slurp a big gulp and still wait till we get home; while the women folk'll have to find a bathroom once or twice during the day, and they only drank a couple cans of cola.

Yeah its the same way in my family. It get rathers annoying when your trying to go somewhere or do something and it seems like every 20 minutes the girls are holding everybody up for a bathroom break and the guys can always wait until hom.
