I do a lot of reports in the puberty forums, and I was wondering, what exactly happens when I send a report? I figured that it sent a PM to all the staff members in that section, but I'm not sure.

There's a forum in the hidden staff area of VT, when you report a post it automatically generates a new thread there that all the staff can see, discuss and deal with the problem.

The post just shows a quote with the report reason and a quote of the reported post.

Yes, but I don't believe they count as posts. I think you reported a post not too long ago in my diary, The Joint, for someone who double posted and I got an e-mail notification of that.

Yea, posts don't count anywhere in the private forums...if they did then staff would 1.4 times their post count :P

Yep I know. I've been a staff member (kinda, don't ask) on another forum and got access to a hidden forum.
