A little question on crushes...

Hey!

Is it unusual to feel uncomfortable about the idea of someone having a crush on you? What are your thoughts on it?

It can be a little weird too know that someone has a desire for you. I know when a girl has a crush on me I tend to be more cautious around them, so they don't get any false impressions about my motives. Cause I don't like to seem like I'm coming on to a girl when I'm not. Hope this helps

Yeah, a few times it's been sort of awkward once I find out someone likes me (If I don't return the feelings, that is)....It's kind of like "Wow, you like me and I don't like you....yeah."

It's not unusual, but I honestly don't know what you should do either. I sure as hell aren't any good with things like this!

I usually don't think much of it, unless we are hanging out when they tell me, because then all I get in my head is her thinking "Oh my god he is so hot, I wish I could have him". That makes it hard to carry on a conversation.

LOl, I know what you mean. I know what I think about when I have a crush on someone, and what I dream about =/ So Its hard not to feel umm awkward slightly.
I don't think it's unusual, if someone had a crush on me I would feel awkward anyway.

It's such a sticky situation, yeah very uncomfortable, which is why when I have a crush, I either tell no one, or only tell people I CAN TRULY TRUST!

It's kind of weird knowing someone has feelings for you, When I think that someone may be fantasizing about me, it really kind of boosts my confidence. But when you don't like them and you have to let them down, you have to be upfront, don't be mean, but either way, it's still kind of hurting them, there's not a lot you can do

Though it can be awkward, i don't fuss over it.
I treat them just like i did before, and make it EXTREMELY (not rudely) clear that i dont have any feelings for them in that sort of way.

I don't let it bother me, until i see them making moves on me.

Just gotta deal with it, because i'm sure you don't want to be treated differently if u have a crush on someone right.

Do on to others, as you wish they'd on to you. basic rule of life.

she's not going to attack u mate, be nice to her. perhaps it's u that hasn't noticed how wonderful she may be. regardless, don't be mean to her and don't hurt her feelings. give urself and her a chance, take her out and just spend some time together. ur lucky mate

Yeah I think it would be weird to know someone has a crush on me. Usually I try to break it by doing something, or at least that's what I did with the last one I knew about :P now we're friends.

anyways....yeah even though I think it's almost essential to have a crush, because I mean, who couldn't have a crush, it is weird when you KNOW about the crush.

I suppose it depends on who has the crush on you.
Quite a few guys have crushes on me at my school and it's really hard to keep them all as friends, I tend to be to nice to people.
Anyways, one of my friends asked me out and I turned him down without really meaning to.. it was kind of a chain reaction "Will you go out with me..?" "errrmnnnooo..."
ha.. it was kinda harsh and I didn't mean it to be.

But anyways, i'm rambbling, sorry :P

I'm trying to give an example.

My other friend asked me out (this was a few years ago) and I immediantly said yes, it think it was because I was more comfortabler with him. Granted, we only dated two months, we're still good friends.
