I want to have a better relationship with me family you see. Well it seems as if everyone hates me. My brother who is 8 and my sister who is 12 just seem like they do everything possible to anger me and you see i try and stop acting that way because i think it will make them stop but NO!!! My sister says stuff like i never wish you were born or i wish you were dead or i wish you would leave and never come back and she really does mean this.
Now on to my parents...
Well they hate me and they let my brother and sister get away with everything they think since I'm older then my brother and sister are i should no better. They get angry at me when i do absoletly nothing wrong. I need help my whole family hates me.

Yes, your situation sounds rather extreme, and I like the idea of you recognizing this and wanting to improve things.

Step 1: Figure out what it is about you they';re responding so negatively to, do some real soul searching here, and see what you come up with.

Step 2: Ask your family to sit down with you and talk about the way you all relate to eachother. Have a family meeting where everyone can talk about their concerns with you (and your concerns about them).

Step 3: Acknowledge *whatever* they say, without being defensive. Hopefully, Step #3 will jive with #1.

Step 4: Tell them you want to improve things and that you're going to work on it, and that you need them to work on it , too. Come up with a plan and an agreement.

Improvement is an ongoing process, it takes work to have good relationships, and even more work to improve those that are bad when you start the process. However, it can be done, but it takes work, determination, and a committment by all those participating.
