im not gonna buy the ps3, but i know it will own the xbox 360. im more into computers. but i do know a fact, *notice the word FACT*: the xbox 360 has graphics equal to that of 3 desktop computers put together. The ps3 has graphics equal to that of 7 desktop computers put together. Also, rmember good ol' Nintendo 64? those were 64bit graphics, ps3 will have somewhere around 1018bit graphics(correct me if im wrong there, i know its over 1000bit though)

the 360 has three fully functioning cores, each able to do the same thing three times or three different things at once while the ps3 has 7 "cells", those cells arent able to do very much as far as rendering goes

also, the 360 completely pwns the shit out of the ps3 with memory bandwidth as shown here http://backoffice.ajb.com.au/images/features/xbox-ps3_mem.gif

No the 360 has a 20 gb removeble laptop hardrive, altho i think you may be able to get a 40 gb one

ugg! i can't stand nitendo anymore. They only have about 2 or three mildly intresting games for the game cube. Personly i think they try to apeal to the younger gamer. The last nitendo product i had was the nentendo 64. Personly i would rather invest my money in a better comp B/C not only are their more good games for the comp, and you can do an unlimeted amount of things with a computer. Wheras lyou can only play games, moivies, and music on a consle.( that is without moding your consel)

actually the ps3's processor has nine cores. one is redundant, so only eight are active. the crap about the 360 having nearly 300 gbps bandwidth is just crap. the 360 has a 22.4 GB/s memory interface bus bandwidth while the ps3 has 25.6 GB/s to Main Ram XDR DRAM and a 204.8 GB/s Cell Element Interconnect Bus according to wikki

actually i have had some really horrible experiences with most products i buy from sony but that hasnt made me choose a new favourite gaming company yet. i had to exchange my psp twice for screen problems (dead pixels, dust) and had to get my ps2 repaired when the cd drive couldnt read coloured disks. The only thing that really bugs me about the PS3 is that it wont read old memory cards from ps2 and ps1. everything else looks great though.
