Mom getting bitchy...

So, this happened a moment ago. I was listening to music in my room. Then my mom shouts at me to come eat. Ofc. I didn´t hear it first. Dunno how long she shouted before I heard it. She got angry as hell like it would be the end of the world. Then she started complaining about how me and my father are always at home and not in work when she goes to work(my dad is retired). Well, what does she expect us to do instead of not going to work? Jesus, c´mon, I´m 13, should I go to work or what? What else can I do than not be working somewhere? Younghood should be a time for chilling, not for getting a job and working etc.

This really fuckin pisses me off. When my mom finds even a one thing to complain about, she lets all the other complaining out too.

Well, if your mom feels she carries an undue amount of responsibility in your family, she might resent that. So, whenever she feels you (and your retired dad) are unresponsive to her (like coming when youre called), it's going to tap into that deeper resentment. Being retired, or being young don't mean you get to disregard those who aren't.

Solution? Well, for starters, try focusing on her requests more. Then, consider talking with her about her deeper resentment. You'd be surprised how little it takes to improve someone's mood.

Well, things like that don´t usually happen. I usually hear him calling even when I listen to music, but now I listened so concentratedly.
