I think being emotionally attracted to someone of the same sex without a physical or sexual attraction would basically be the same as being like best friends. If there is no sexual attraction, you're not gay, that's for sure. I'd say you would just be likely to be very good friends.

I would say that in order to be into guys you need two types of attractions. The fact that you are simply emotionally attracted to a dude just means, like theOperaGhost said, that you are really good friends and you care about each other. It is possible to care for someone of the same sex without being attracted to them in a sexual way.

both of the above posts are right, in order to be bi/gay you have to be both emotionally and physicaly attracted to a dude
