I apologize if this thread has been posted all ready, but I couldn't find it.
I'm 13 and I have hair on the upper corner of my lips. It is my understanding that this would normally happen later on. Would this also mean that I may develop more facial hair earlier? I'm an early bloomer, but I wasn't sure.

I'm developing most like my eldest brother, who is 6'3'', 4 inches taller then my dad. My doctor told me I would be at least 5'11''. I calculated it online by putting in weight/height, parent's height, etc, and it said I would be atleast 6'1''.
Do you think I will grow to about my brother's height? Oh, and my Grandpa is about 6'3''/6'4'', much taller then my dad.

Maybe genetics are really wierd things, you might be in the 511-6.1 range which is pretty tall, So your right on track. Although I''ll be looking down on you :P, as far as facial hair goes, youll get it no worries give it some time.

I don't want it, truthfully. I have long hair and I'd look like a bum with it :P

Yes, genetics are crazy. It sounds like you'll develop facial hair faster, from what you describe.

And, what's wrong with looking like a bum? Crazy bums are awesome. :D

Haha, I want to get my ear pierced, but tongue piercing look...painful XD

Oh yeah. When an area on your face gets bumpy and itchy, is that acne or hair growing. I have that on the lining of my jaw and around there, and I don't have acne anywhere minus my nose.

I think its acne my face never got bumpy when hair grew only scratchy.

Yah, I don't know why it's bumpy then. I can already feel hair there, and this is what happened when other hair grew in. Itchy and bumpy, guess I'm only half normal :P

I want to get the kind of fuzz thing, where the side burns run down into the beard area then end up in a circle around the mouth :) That's what my brothers has, he shaves everyday, too.
Like this, but probably more shaven.

well about your growing..yea you have a great chance of being as tall as your brother/grandpa/your dad...all you have to do is not to mess it up by sleep deprivation, unhealthy ways etc.

You can not really tell how tall you are going to be. You are already pretty tall, so I dont think you have anything to worry about. I would trust your doctor because he has medical records and other information on which me based his opinions on, appose to just entering in "height/weight/age/parent's height".

None of us can say for sure about your development, but my guess is that you are going to start shaving within a month or two, and your development will mirror that of your brother's. I am pretty sure you will at very least match his height if not beat him. My experience in such families as yours is the brothers are pretty close in height for the most part.

I think in the process of developing hair some of your pores are getting blocked and filled with bacteria. You might want to buy some over the counter facial cleaners at your local drugstore which can ease the bumps. Also, good old fashioned rubbing alcohol on your face is a good way to deal with acne, too. Just make sure to keep your face clean as those pores will get blocked up fast if you don't stay on top of them.

Facial hair doesn't always show up everywhere at once and I know some people who are close to 18 and only have it in certain areas on their face. Facial hair is a part of being a guy and if you don't like it your only option is to shave. As to how tall you will be I wouln't worry about being to short thats for sure. Sounds like you have some height in your family. If things follow from you dads side you will be find. What you need to look at is the height of your moms dad and the other guys on that side of the family. That side has an effect as well.

Puberty is an odd thing - in which it doesn't really have a method or rhythm, for lack of a better term. Oh, most definitely we can roughly map out how we're going to grow, when and where hair is going to grow in - but that doesn't mean it's going to be the exact same for you..
As for height, you could probably be in the 5'9-6'2 gap, or even taller or shorter. As for the facial hair, it all comes in at different times. I'm fourteen-and-a-half and I can grow side burns like no other, but at the same time I have almost no hair on my upper lip - but (hopefully) it'll grow in. You still have tons of time, so don't fret. And you could be a little early as in terms of growing facial hair.

My mom's dad died before I was born, but I'll have to look at pictures. I'm really going against my brothers I guess. I've been told that my body shape/height etc. is similar to my eldest brother's. My other brother is shorter at 5'11'', I think he takes after my dad's mom's side.

It seems like I'm going through a growth spurt and a hair spurt. in the past month, I grew about half an inch, and now I'm starting to get hair on my chin.
Oh, and my facial hair and hair on my head, legs and arms are blond/ dark blond, but my pubic hair and under arm hair are darker. Why?
