Does your school have a website or system which allows you to set up your work experience. The county I come from has one called Trident, so maybe look into that. Make sure you check with all your family and friends -- having contacts helps a lot. And good luck with your search.

I don't think you're problem is about the 'work experience' thing, as much as it is the AGE thing. If you're really 14, you have about zero chance of doing anything (even washing dishes) in a dance club that serves liquor, which, I imagine, is most of them.
If you're looking for some experience DJing, stop trying to contact clubs and start contacting DJ services. Go to your local Yellow Pages (business directory) and find DJ services, then start cold calling. Frankly, I don't imagine you'll have much sucess, but I'm sure you'll have a much better chance doing that that trying to find a club that will let a 14y/o DJ!
If you have your own equimpment, why not volenteer your services to local charities and schools? You can get the exp and if you're good, maybe a referal to a paying gig!

no luck guys, I spent the prior week wondering around Cheltenham and Gloucester, staying in hotels, nada, Trident website (Trident is the organisation that sets up work experience) referred me to phone this number, so I did, he couldn't help, However I have looked at a place called Alive IT, and am currently in quite high chance, I think, But if anyone can find a club, it would be much appreciated.. However, I remain farely confident that there aren't any in Chelt/Glos
