Is it true that sleep deprivation will make you growth slow down or even totally stop? Because, I really like to stay awake really late(like, sometimes even till 5:00 AM). I donīt have insomnia, I just like staying awake late. I usually sleep like 5-9 hours and I donīt even feel tired after sleeping only 5 hours. I heard that you sleep more when you are in puberty. But, I feel that 5 hours is enough for me and I am in puberty. Like, at the first night I can sleep only 5 hours and the next day I can still say awake as long as the first day and I donīt even feel tired.

Can it harm my growth? Iīm worried especially about my penis growth. I donīt want my penis growth to stop or anything. In the other hand, I also donīt want to stop staying awake late...
So, what do you think?

i'm the same as you..stay up all night and can run on little sleep...but i'm afraid I dont know the answer to your question sorry. I've heard that you're supposed to have at least 9 hours sleep every night for your body to function properly, but i'm not sure how that applies in puberty

It shouldn't affect your growth. You don't need 9 hours of sleep to work properly.

1. You always work properly.
2. It's different for everyone. I need about 5 hours of sleep. Nine is too long to sleep for me.

This is true. Scientific studies were made and kids especially in their teen/puberty stages should atleast have 8-9hours of sleep every night to grow to their full height, but the studies didn't say anything about the length of the penis so idk about that

Sleep is important, but unless you're basically never sleeping, and not eating, either, it should have no affect on growth or puberty at all. it takes some pretty extreme things over a very long period of time to cause permanent damage.

Yes.
When you sleep, your cells rebuild and repair. You need about 8 hours of sleep.
Recent studies have suggested that sleep downtime of the brain, so active during the day, may replenish dwindling energy stores that cells need to function, repair cellular damage caused by our busy metabolism, and even grow new nerve cells in the brain.

I think you might be exaggerating... just a bit. That's hereditary and genetics, too, though.
It also effects growth of muscle.
