Hi, im new to VT. I have a problem and maybe you guys can help me?? I have been going out with this girl for about a month now. We kissed on the first date and NOTHING happend. But we recently started hooking up. We did it about 4 times. I got a boner 2 out of the 4 times. Luckily she didnt see it. But can someone please help me?:? Has this ever happened to anyone else??

Are you asking why you're not getting an erection 100% of the time you're hooking up? If that's so, the answer is that you're normal.

Lots of things contribute to erection, like arousal, horniness, interest, emotions, how you're feeling physically, the location, etc. As long as you get aroused sometimes, you're OK. You might want to think about the circumstances around these hook ups and see if you cannot determine what might be getting in the way for you.

But if you are hooking up with someone you are sexually attracted, the sexual tension and arousal will cause an erection, and as IAMSAM said, other things on your mind could be preventing you from getting one

i read you as saying why you even get a boner. there's nothing wrong with it, but try to control yourself because you may just shock her. at the very least tell her. girls aren't stupid. its natural that you're getting excited kissing her. i'd be worried if i didn't get one; its not like we kiss girls every minute of every day, so its a major turn on. you're normal, mate

Agreed, a lot of guys get them when in your position so don't worry to much. To hide it maybe tuck it into your shorts/ board line
