Hey all, I'm kinda new here, but it seems like a nice and friendly place.

In brief, I am 13 years old, nearly 14 (21st Feb) and I am just a regular teenager. Onto my topic.

At the moment, my computer consists of the following:
AMD Athlong 2200XP+
Asus Kt7v Mobo (I think that's the name)
MSI GeForce FX 5700 LE 128mb
896mb of DDR RAM (Don't ask how it got that big :D )

Anyway, I am soon going to upgrade to These specs:

MEMDDR9 CORSAIR 1GB DDR 400DUAL CHAN KIT,V/S, (2*512MB MODULES), CL2.5, RETAIL BOXED, LIFETIME WARRANTY £66.50
AMD XP3000+ OEM, S/OFFER, 1YR WTY £52.95 4710933352485 ABIT "
VA-20 ",400FSB, DDR400, SATA, VIDEO+8X AGP, SOUND,LAN, ATA-133, RETAIL BOXED, 2YR WTY. " £38.00

Sub-Total: £157
So basicly, New Mobo, new RAM, and new CPU, just wondered what you guys think to this? I am hopefully at the same time get a Nvidia Geforce 6600GT for around 90-100 pounds. I play alot of games, online and single player, such as F.E.A.R, CoD2, Half life 2, counter strike source, day of defeat source, and other things like that, so I am needing the upgrades for the new and more modern graphics and physics engines.

Also, if anyone has MSN or X-fire, add me on [email protected] or mozzamozza

i like how your athlong processor isnt short like my athlon

i wish i knew where to get DDR9 and a mobo that supports it

anyway looks good except for the motherboard, i would have gotten an ASUS board buts thats probably just personal preference

Nice specs. I'm sure you meant Athlon instead of Athlong, and just Mem - DDR instead of MEMDDR9 :P

Anyway, trust me, you'll love the nVidia 6600GT - I have the same model :) Just don't forget to download drivers for it!
