For the past 2 years, I have been shaving my moustache away but I don't think I'm doing it right. After shaving, some part of my skin gets red and I get blisters or some sort. This happens even I use shaving foam/cream. Any tips? I use an electronic shaver. It comes with a trimmer but I don't use it.

It sounds like you could either have very sensitive skin where you're shaving or the method that you're using to shave might not be right for you.

Couple of ideas from me; if you're wet shaving, try a different shaving foam / a different type of razor. Sometimes it's worth spending a bit more money on a razor to get a decent one which won't irritate your skin. Another very important thing to do when you finish wet shaving is to moisturise! Any kind of moisturiser can be applied to the skin that you've just shaved, you can get specific after-shave lotions though.

If you are using an electric shaver, you could maybe try another one out / keep that area moisturised anyway.

perhaps you are using a lame shaver ... do you know the model number and brand?

For me i find best BRAUN series 7 shavers and BRAUN Cruzer4 and Philips RQ1095 <<--- Try these out (the Best ... Well they are also a bit costly ...)

I own other shavers cause I happened to have a sentive skin and I spent quite a lot of money to find these 3 ... I can guarantee they are the Best you can find ... :D

Shave right after you take a warm/hot shower because your skin is usually very moist and easier to shave

That happens to me because I have really sensitive skin. Don't worry about it, it's somewhat normal (depending on different peoples skin) and very common.

Yea, use moisturizer. I have really sensative skin, and that really helps.
