Poetic Folly

My art, writing and poetry. I'll start with the easiest to post:
Asylum
the burning door that traps you in
you push hard to get out
but burn yourself
in attempt for the foolish freedom
you know you didn't deserve
you sit, but the floor is ice
the contradicting forces will, at once
persevere together
to take on the common enemy
you start to go mad
you go in to denial
the horrible fire and ice
burning and freezing
become love and life
the delusion saves you
you don't suffer from insanity,
you enjoy every minute.
