Hey as you can tell from the title this is a page to help learn the "truth" and facts of pubic hair ill list some myths and add your opions or questions and lets all help each other! So heres one myth and i think one of the biggest "when you shave your pubic hair(and leg if your a girl) your hair will get thicker longer and more course" this is a yes and no (feel free to disagree) yes that it only SEEMS to get thicker it seems lot thiner due to "wear and tear" and no it doesnt get longer. Ok well you can ask question state facts or ask bout myths and maybe youll get some good awnsers so have a great day and thanks for looking at this plz post!!

Your myth is wrong.

Hair doesn't grow back longer/thicker when you shave it, it just appears that way because once you shave, the end of the hairs are blunt as they're growing back in. I'm not sure what you meant by this "wear and tear" nonsense, but that's what it is.

Yeah, that's wrong if you're referring to shaved areas. Sorry.

If you're talking about, for instance, how some men stop growing hair on their ankles eventually from their socks continually rubbing there, that's a different story. But I don't think that's what you meant.

Wat i mean is that the hair that grows back is "new" and as you have it it get thin

I know what you're saying, but I'm just telling you that's wrong. For some reason you're not understanding that.

Unless this is falling under your "myth" category in this thread.

Of course.

When hair grows naturally, the ends are tapered and basically come to a point. But when you shave it, that tapered end is cut off with the razor, and the end you're left with is blunt and the width of the strand of hair. That's why stubble looks so dark; it's because the end of the hairs are wider than they were before they were trimmed.
