There is no such thing as brainwashing, its called charisma, the ability to make other's think differently is part of charisma. Christians use brainwashing, they use "Sins" which make people fear doing things that are completly human.

Atheists are people who don't believe in god. That doesn't mean they might not ALSO be crazy people! Ever heard of Raelians? They are technically atheists, but they believe in aliens that came to earth and "planted" humanity as a science experiment. You can't judge atheists as a whole, since it just answers one small part of a person's overall worldview.

For example, I'm an atheist. Okay. That doesn't tell you what I BELIEVE in, but what I "don't" believe in. I'm also a non-stamp collector (since I don't collect stamps) but that doesn't tell you much. My personal PHILOSOPHY is secular humanism (which you can look up) which might answer more about the kind of values I DO find important etc. etc.

i went to the site on the site www.truthism.com (http://www.truthism.com) and i read the whole thing, (go there, its very long) and... its a load of bull crap. all about how the lizard like aliens created humans and are now ruling over us and they created all religions to cover up their existence yadda yadda yadda. so considering the thing on www.finallyexposed.com (http://www.finallyexposed.com/) was written by the same person, it kind of dose drill some holes in the points it brings up.

i actually do believe in brain washing, but more in the terms of religion. the children are brought up being taught about their religion, and by the time their adults, they are very close minded about anything else, and they refuse to give anything other than their religion a chance. is that not brain washing?

how exactly is is offensive or ignorant? I really come on, its a sin to be homosexual apparently, so those who were born gay are afraid to show who they are because they family says they will die. Brain washing, the hypothetical person is now afraid to be who he/she is. Having sex before marriage is a sin, so those who listen to their parents ay oh well your going to burn in hell for having pre marital sex. So the person is brain washed into thinking that its not ok to have premarital sex. You christians say that its even a sin to eat shell fish! I mean come on, this "Book" tells us what we can and cant do. The only thing two people who are having sex should worry about are; will I/she get pregnant, do I have an sti/std? And seriously? Murder being human nature? Jeoulousy and anger are nature, not murder its just the by product. Now dont bring in other religions to take the pressure of yourself, I think we are all aware of what they dont allow because they arent afraid to hide it.

Er. I don't know any family that says you will die because you are homosexual. It's true that the Bible is against homosexuality, but it is only Fundamentalist Christians that exaggerate this stance and say "You are going to hell".

If I remember correctly, fundamentalist Christians and parents can't judge anyone to hell. Only God can.

I'm not even a Christian, I'm an Agnostic, and I have the respect to know this kind of thing. Many people have faith in it. Whether you believe it's a bunch of bullshit or not, it's a belief and the least you could do is show respect for it.

I have a Christian family, Catholic to be precise - which is one of the most consersative parts of Christianity and I went to a Catholic school for 12 years. I was never taught that (sin) sends you to hell, and from my understanding they never "irradicated" people that didn't fit in. I was taught that, although God dissaproves of homosexuality and such, he doesn't hate them and, it's only the fundamentalists that assert that homosexual = go to hell.

Extremism in anything is bad, and that includes Christianity. I hate fundamentalism and I hate the wars that Christianity has caused, such as the Northern Ireland Troubles and the Crusades.

But you can't just generalise things like that. You don't say all Germans are Nazis and fascists because of Hitler, and you don't say all Muslims are terrorists who are facinated with blowing themselves up in crowds or flying planes into buildings.

i believe in conspiracy theories but it should be based on an evidence
