View Full Version : Puberty related blogs

For the past week or so, I've been wanting to make a thread about this. Why is it that some users are making the blogs into a new P101? I mean, seriously, there's even a blog called "the bulge report". I mean, what the fuck?
The blogs are meant for users to talk about their day, maybe vent, and share something they made or something they find funny etc, but why is it, that I'm seeing a bunch of puberty surveys and puberty related questions? I've even seen one asking if an 8 inch penis is good enough to have sex with. Perhaps some type of word blocker or blog entry block could be put in (if there is one). We could block words such as "penis" "prick" "cock" among other words. The blogs weren't made for users to ask puberty and sexuality questions, because we already have a forum for it.

I noticed that too!!!!
Its getting annoying, and really pointless. Just use P101. The only reason people post this stuff is because they want to be noticed, but its really not the way to do it.

I don't think it is our place to tell members where to ask their questions.
As long as they are not breaking rules, they should be able to do whatever they want.

Agreed. If you don't like the questions in blog format, either ignore it, or kindly tell them they'd get a better response in a certain forum.
If they are inappropriate, like the bulge report, report it, and wait for a senior to handle it.

I don't know why you feel the need to censor someone's personal blog. I'd actually rather them talk about it there then have to read another thread about how big some kid's dick is.

A blog is a member's personal space like a diary. They can use it as they want as long as its within the rules. If it bothers you this much you can always refrain from the blog section.

Also, to add one more thing. Sometimes newer members don't understand that their questions will get answered faster in the forums. So if you feel like a member is oblivious to that fact, you can always politely tell them via PM or post too

Lol MoveAlong, you really do not like the bulge report, do you? I have never personally seen the blog(s), so I can't say much about it.

The site is made to help, at its core. Does it matter how that help is offered in the end? Not really. Instead of complaining, I usually go in, answer the question, and be done with it. It doesn't bother me, and I've just done a good deed! Win-win!

I don't know what that is. Can you give me a link?

Laura deleted it a long time ago. I don't know why it's still brought up.
Plus, none of the people who have brought it up even reported it! I'm sure it would have been deleted much sooner if it had been reported on first discovery, say by one of the people complaining about it.

Honestly I have no idea who Laura is.
I can't seem to find it now. And the first time I saw it I didn't give a fuck about this website.
well I guess there's no bulge report!! Problem solved???

Well, at least it was deleted. But we still have the problem of general surveys and sex ed questions in the blogs. I suppose if people took the time to either report or PM the user and tell them that they would get a quicker response in the forums. Ok, that pretty much solves the problem I suppose. Thanks everyone.

To clear things up, the blog in question was deleted by Beautiful Silence (Laura). I believe it was discovered when someone reported it...but someone really random reported it and no one that is complaining about it now. Otherwise, I barely see puberty/sexual related blogs. They come once and a while and are usually not responded in.
So it is really not a problem. If you do see one, just don't respond to it unless you have something nice and pertinent to say.
I think thats it...
Oh one more thing. Maybe they put their question in their blog for a reason...when it gets no replies I think they will understand though.
